It is really tough for any successful sportsman to do well in study too but there are always some exceptional people in the world who can do anything and Bangladesh's Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim is one of them.
He is the best wicket-keeper batsman of Bangladesh and his records can make anyone jealous. But Mushfiq is not only a better cricketer but also a better student.
He has completed his Masters degree from one of the most prestigious universities of Bangladesh, Jahangirnogor University and the little master of Bangladesh doesn't want to stop here as he has a plan to do PHD and that too on sports.
Recently, a leading Bangladeshi daily had a chat with the Test captain of Bangladesh and there he revealed his plan for doing a PHD on sports. Mushfiqur Rahim said, "I have a plan to do a PHD on sports and at the moment I am planning to do a PHD on South Asian cricket. Education is very important because it will help you become more knowledgeable."He concluded, "As a human being I want my next generation to look up at their parents and realise how important education is, no matter who you are. My father and mother have always encouraged me to continue that."
Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim has completed his Masters degree in History from Jahangirnagar University. After finishing school and college from BKSP, he joined the university.
in 2007 and then completed an honors and masters with an impressive CGPA of 3.49.
